Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Traditional Anniversary Gift: Leather
As a material, leather is durable, warm, strong, flexible, and has a sense of resilency to it. These are qualities that help marriages continue to thrive.

Modern Anniversary Gift: Crystal/Glass

Crystal can dazzle with its beauty and the way light dances off the multifaceted surface. It is a gentle reminder of how a couple in a meaningful marriage can touch the lives of others.

Travel Anniversary Gift Ideas: Luggage

This year I got a Kindle Fire for Mother's Day but for our anniversary I got the leather case. I just love what the leather symbolizes. <3

For my husband I purchased him a new wallet with his initials and filled it with 6 $25 gift cards to his favorite places.

Mother's Day 2013

Mother's Day social at D's school...

My Mother's Day gift from Daeton. As he gave it to me he said, "That's how much I love you." I wanted to cry! I love being a Mom.

The 'I love my mom because...' wall.

D's.

His best friend Elizabeth's. I love how she drew her whole family.

For all the mothers and grandmothers in our lives we made them photo albums of Shutterfly and they turned out great! A big hit also! Everyone loved them!

This year I got a Kindle Fire and I love it! The only draw back is if I want to keep reading and my eyes start going blurry I can't do anything but quit. :(

Easter 2013

It's all about the egg decorating...
A throwin' pirate faces. ;]
This was our first year decorating eggs so it was a trial and error run. Didn't go that bad but there were still some tears shed.

Trying so hard to be careful...

Enjoying it!

T, not so much.

He was so heartbroken that he couldn't do one himself. Next year we'll try the muffin tin version.

All our eggs with our names on them. Thank you, Love. He's always the artistic type. And sentimental. <3

The Easter Bunny came! T got a Cars color wonder coloring book, Thomas the Train bubbles, some candy, Mr. Potato Head and Where are Babies Easter Eggs book.

D got Oh, the Places You'll Go book, the game Cootie, a spider man bubbles, some candy and the double movie Hook/Indian in the Cupboard. He's loving pirate anything right now.

St Patty's Day 2013

A dental visit...

D's school had another social for St Patrick's day. Again it was to decorate cookies. We made sure to wear our green!

The step by step process of decorating a cookie. :] D style.

Step 1: Add a dollop of green frosting

Step 2: Add sprinkles

 Step 3: Shake off access

 Step 4: ENJOY

Afterwards the kids gathered around and played Bear Hunt. It was so cute to see them act out the song. T was even getting into it. ;]

Valentines Day 2013

D's school had a social for Valentine's Day where the parents could come and decorate cookies with their children. I'm glad I'm able to attend these things with both my boys. I know lots of moms would love to be able to do things like that but are unable to.

I love my boy's shirts this year. I purchased them off Zulily. LOVE that site!

D decorating his cookie. T loves going with me to drop D off and pick him up. I can't wait until he can enroll because he just loves the interaction with the other children and he loves to play with all the toys.

This little girl is so cute. She's always talking to me and I think she has a little crush on D. :] Not sure though. She loves taking pictures too. So cute!

T just eating some sprinkles. Don't mind him. ;]

I got the hubs some of his favorite foods for V day and it was also his birthday on the 4th so he got spoiled. I forgot to capture a picture of his gifts but I will make more of an effort to capture his things also because I love looking back on special occasions.

He got me some running shoes and some girl scout cookies. My fav!
I love his sweet notes. <3

Halloween 2012

This year D was Superman

T was Captain America. This is the only way we could get him to sit still to capture him. He had to see himself on Daddy's phone...

This year we also decided to paint our pumpkin's instead of carving them. I thought it'd be a lot easier... BOY! Was I wrong!

My pumpkin is the simple one with bugs on it

T's pumpkin has some pieces that have blown away. The faces glow in the dark.

We had a Trunk or Treat this year again on Base.

The Skeleton Trunk

D and I. T wasn't wanting to sit or trick or treat. He was running all over the place! Good thing Daddy was with us!
