Travel Anniversary Gift Ideas: Luggage

This year I got a Kindle Fire for Mother's Day but for our anniversary I got the leather case. I just love what the leather symbolizes. <3

For my husband I purchased him a new wallet with his initials and filled it with 6 $25 gift cards to his favorite places.

Tambourine

Items Needed:
corn kernals, dried beans, small pasta, cereal, and so on (we used beans)
2 paper plates (I would not recommend styrofoam but that's what we had on hand)
glue or staples (staples are easier but they tear the plate up)
hole punch
ribbon
crayons, markers, stickers for decoration

Decorate your plates first if you want. I found it to be easier. Place your chosen noise maker onto a plate then cover with the second. Staple or glue the rims together. Punch holes around the plates and add ribbon.

Splash Park!

Some friends of ours are relocating to another area in CA so before they moved we decided to have one last playdate!

T's 2nd Birthday- Low Key

Decided this year to have T's birthday at 5 Guys. He has been a little indifferent about sweets lately so instead of a cake, or cupcakes, he was presented with a donut. :] He'll eat those, no problem.

Growth Chart

Made my boys each their own growth chart. There's lots of ideas floating around Pinterest. I like the idea of ours being portable since we are in the military and all. Plus, I want my boys to be able to take theirs with them where ever they go.

Mother's Day 2013

Mother's Day social at D's school...

 My Mother's Day gift from Daeton. As he gave it to me he said, "That's how much I love you." I wanted to cry! I love being a Mom.

For all the mothers and grandmothers in our lives we made them photo albums of Shutterfly and they turned out great! A big hit also! Everyone loved them! 

This year I got a Kindle Fire and I love it! The only draw back is if I want to keep reading and my eyes start going blurry I can't do anything but quit. :(
